Willem Kalf was the creator of the Pronkstillevens or Sumptuous Still Life. Other masters of the Dutch Golden Age followed his lead and took this style even further e.g. Abraham van Beijeren, Jan Davidz De Heeem and Peter de Ring. This image recreates one of Kalf's masterpieces.
