One of Vermeer daughters intends to follow her father's steps. She secretly wants to become a painter and she tries to imitate her father work. Her latest project is to paint a dollhouse that her father used as a model for a painting that he called "The Little Street". She placed the house in front of the upper room window to get it lit directly... she is concentrated in her work and peacefully painting the final touches to the house.

I grew up admiring classic paintings, specially the Renaissance and the Dutch Golden Age periods.There is one particular feature of Dutch Golden Age paintings that led me to believe that I could try to reproduce them. Their level of detail is unparalleled in painting history, they look like photographs. Some are so detailed, that they can trick you into the removal of an ant or to scare away a fly.
